“Two weekends ago I had the absolute joy of setting up and manning a 24-7 Prayer tent at SPREE WALES” writes Lindy Morgan. “This is a Christian festival for 8-15yr olds that is held in Llanelli every year. There were some 300 young people of which approximately a third came through the prayer room.

They engaged really easily in the creativity of prayer and many heard the Lord speak to them as they spent time in the quiet space (my large dome tent that we erected within the main tent). It was great to be able to facilitate these young people into coming face to face with God as they gave their time to seeking Him. I remember Bishop Carl (as was Bishop of the Church in Wales St David’s diocese) saying in comment to the statement that“the children are the future of the church” that “they are our present and our future!”. Jesus presence Himself amongst them during the weekend and they knew something more of Him as they left for home than they had when they came. Praise be to God.

One young man, who will remain nameless, came into the ‘quiet space’ on the first evening, heavily burdened and desperately seeking a word from God as to what he’s to do with his life and how to come closer to the Father’s heart. I was able to share with him just how much Father God loves him. He realised something that he’d never known before and when he returned the following day he had a smile on his face that would have outshone Blackpool illuminations. We got to pray with him, (not just for him), for Cardiff and the move of Holy Spirit in that City. We were able to rejoice and intercede together. This was so very far away from the young man who initially presented himself to us the night before. The love of God, the God of love, the God who is love, melted his heart and made him new. Thank you Jesus.”
