The vision is huge!
…the vision is to see Scotland turn again to the God who loves her, to see Scotland healed, restored, vibrant, safe.
…to see prayer rooms, not just in churches, but in schools, campuses, hospitals, prisons, courts, Parliament buildings, council offices, police and fire stations, workplaces and homes across the length and breadth of this country.
…to see the 24-7 Prayer 2020 Vision of prayer, mission and justice become the reality for us too.
…to build on the faithful prayers of so many over so many years who have stood in the gap for Scotland as they watched as we squeezed God out of our schools, out of our lives and out of our country.
…to usher in the promise of God in 2 Chronicles 7:14 – that “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
What are we doing to achieve this? First and foremost – we are praying!
…praying for wisdom, discernment, a download of vision and ideas from Heaven, to be living in that ‘thin place’, where Heaven and Earth touch and where “thy Kingdom come, thy Will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven” is a reality!
…praying for the revealing of those who will partner with us on this amazing journey – those in Scotland who are already plugged in to the 24-7 network, who hear the heartbeat of God in this incredible movement.
…praying for those who will offer their time to help turn the vision into a reality. Those who will have the courage to establish a prayer room in their church, or workplace, or shopping centre.
…praying for those who will resource us financially, generously, sacrificially.
…extending the “2010 Year of Prayer” into 2011, joining with Wales and Ireland, desperate to see not just one church praying for a week, but multiple churches and groups praying for extended periods! Continuous non-stop prayer!
So… please join with us, wherever and however you can. Get in touch – either with questions, or suggestions, or offers of help, words of encouragement – we’d love to hear from you and about you. And if you’re in Scotland, please get in touch, register your prayer rooms on 24-7’s global website and we’ll be in touch to offer any help/support you need.
